Making a Difference

Wow, it has been a month since I last wrote to you. My world has been evolving, changing, shedding, renewing and absolutely in divine, perfect order.

I am on my Purpose train. OMG, what a ride, could even be an attraction at a theme park. Step right up to your Purpose train; a ride filled with bumps, sharp turns, 360 degree loops and every second is worth it. Hold on, but not too tight, there are things that are meant to fall away. They are no longer needed on this train ride. HO, there goes ego, there goes childhood angst, there goes lack of...

You see people on this train, your Purpose train, there are Gifts of the Divine. I want my world to be filled completely with them. There is Love, Patience, Kindness, Faith, Joy, Peace,Goodness, Self Control and Gentleness.

Each day I want you to look at this list with me, print it out,write it out, however it is that you will see IT. I am going to choose ONE and ask the universe to fill my heart with the gift, then ask the universe for the opportunity to give that gift away the very same day. In doing this with me my brothers and sisters, we are making a difference, we are changing our world for the better.

Let Go

I have been experiencing the joy of being in the flow. My life is made complete through the power of faith. I have stepped up and allowed myself to let go of things, thoughts and concepts that no longer serve my highest good.

I have learned through this process that as soon as I let go of those things that do not serve me any longer and make room for new experiences, they begin to immediately flow my way.

So try with me a "clutter clearing process," release those clothes that no longer serve you, those things that you do not use, rid yourself of old papers, magazines and books. Every thing holds a vibration. If you are still holding on to things that have old energy, that energy is not serving your highest good.

With a thankful heart, I anticipate and accept God's abundance. I not only observe prosperity, but I also participate in its flow. With God as my source, I am blessed with guidance, resources, and opportunity. I nurture and share these blessings, helping to create new forms of abundance. I pass along good.

As we release and let go, know that you are being supported every step of the way. Release creates change and change can creat fear. Fear not, all all is in divine and perfect order.

When we are truly on our paths, serving others in the highest good, we are pure vessels for greatness to flow through.

There is a great fight in each of our lives. It is the battles of two wolves. One wolf is filled with anger, rage, deceit and jealousy. The other is filled with joy, serenity, compassion and love. The wolf who wins is the one who we feed! Which one are you feeding right now?

We can slip and feed that bad wolf; however, we can instantly change the direction. By shifting our focus, focus on the good in our lives, we are grateful for the offerings that come our way.

Gratitude

Gratitude- What a simple word. When we are grateful and we actually feel a tingle around our heart, we are emitting a positive vibrational frequency that brings more of that into our energy field. Now here is a secret ~ you are bringing into your life not that which you are grateful, but every thing that has that same positive vibrational frequency.

Today’s lesson: practice being grateful. Don’t just say the words, you MUST feel them, your heart must tingle.

I remember a jingle from years past, sing with me: I’m dreaming good vibrations! Good, good, good, good vibrations.

When was the last time you felt complete contentment in your life?

Recognize the abundant goodness around you - be it in the form of a pleasant breeze or a fresh piece of fruit.  Whatever it is that brings you joy ~ stop, recognize it and smile ~ say a thank you. When we greet the day through the eyes of gratitude for God's gifts, our lives are made complete.  

There are 4 basic subjects of your life ~ Body, Home, Relationships and Work. When you identity any of these, a focusing energy occurs.

When you make specific statements of desire, you activate more energy around those subjects. It is your choice whether you activate positive or negative energy. 

Remember the Universe will always deliver the vibrational essence of your desire!

Hope - the true seed

In the mist of economy turmoil, let us look within and there we will find the answer. I could not have told you this yesterday, as I too was caught in the web, intangled and frozen. My dear brother Gregory, showed me the way back, within the depths of my own soul, where all answers lie.

There is a seed of understanding that rests at the very depths of our soul. It is a knowing that beyond all appearances there is Go(o)d. It is representative of ancient knowledge, compassion, and truth. This seed does not flower or germinate; it remains whole and encased, solid in form. It does not dry out and wither; it resides as everlasting potential and endless possibility. Marinating within the heart keeps it alive and supple, healthy and whole. This is the seed of Hope.

Hope expresses itself at all times. Within it lies the security that there is something more, a greater power and essence that has a hand in all things. And even though most may not realize, that greatness resides within all things. It becomes our soul strength. 

There is ‘You’ and there is ‘I’ and there is the ‘Other’…but in truth “we are the ‘each ness’ of the ‘all ness’ that exists”. As you walk your path today, show others what HOPE looks like so that they too may know how to walk.

Prayerful Visualization

I have been walking my spiritual path for many years now and love, love, love when I incorporate things that completely work for me and mine. I would like to share something I learned for a great woman named Patti Teel. She helps children de-stress and sleep well. I learned a technique called "prayerful visualization." It has no limitations and can be applied to any situation. This practice will feel quite different from our "regular" praying. This is an enjoyable and powerful practice that can dramatically change our attitudes and ultimately, the events that make up our lives.

Let's do this together each and every day, imagine that what you ant to have happen has already occurred. Example, you are having difficulty with another. Instead of praying for a solution, close your eyes and envision harmony between you. See you two smiling and encouraging the other, hear the words of compassion. At this point, you will probably find yourself smiling and your heart will grow warm.

If you want to add silent or spoken world to your prayerful visualization, pray (person's name) whole, pray (person's name) happy. Did you notice that I'm suggesting you leave out the word FOR. You are actually experiencing (through your feelings and visualization) what you'd like to have occur. When you feel complete, punctuate your prayerful visualization with a feeling of thankfulness and gratitude.

My Birth Day

Yes, today 39 years ago, at 10:03 AM, I entered this realm of Earth. What a joyous day! I chose a path of life lessons that would be learned fairly early in life, so the latter or best years would be filled with dubious laughter, love and harmony.

Today I want you to imagine a world (your world) filled with non-judgement, realizing that absolutely everyone is doing the best they can with what they know and have at any given moment. We are in fact spirit beings have a human experience, which is designed with character flaws for us to move past and see the real light being shining brightly inside.

So my beloved divine children of God know that we all have the same potential and God has laid before us a glorious bounty for all to enjoy.  It is up to us as individuals to release moments of judgement and step forth for the beauty and abundance that awaits.

Affirmation for the day... I am a divine beloved child of God and I freely choose to forgive and release myself from any and all attachments to lack, limitation and the false belief in illness and disease. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Opportunity knocks

We are being asked by the universe to open ourselves to paths of least resistance. For some of us, resistance is our middle name. We create these thoughts which later become things and wonder how did that happen to me. 

This my dear sibling is the universal law, it is the way. We all come from the same Source Energy, we continually create it every second of every day. So if you knew that positive negates negative and every time you had a negative thought, you were creating that in your life on some level, you would begin to make a conscious effort to change that thought.

Now, simply let go, be with the flow. How many times have you heard that corny phrase? It is 100% true.

Okay when you have that negative thought or actually say something that you know does not fit where you ruly want to be, STOP, say "well what do I want?" Example, I caught myself saying how I was tired of people not owning up to their responsibilities. I stopped myself before I went irrate and said, well Heather, what do you want? Response, I want the people in my life to be responsible for their actions, instantly changing a negative vibration, YAY!

Mantra for the day: I love my life, life is good and the universe provides for me!

Life is like the Ocean

I stood on Folly beach this morning watching the ocean churn with fury as the outer bands of Tropical Storm Fay attacks the coastline. The water is angry, fierce and powerful; yet people are trying to empower themselves by riding the waves of fury.

The analogy of the title reminds us that when the churning waves of emotion enter our lives, we must stand up and empower ourselves by riding out those waves, successfully kicking its a**. When we do this, we become more than the sum of our parts. We are stepping closer to our oneness with our creator.

As the rain falls and the wind blows, I know that all is in perfect divine order. The earth is being cleansed of debris and negativity. This is the way Mother Nature works.

Let's learn an important lesson from her... When life begins to drag us under, we must empower ourselves with her strength and ever-giving love to fiercely remove all the debris and negativity. We can then create our worlds in the divine light and be the best we were sent here to be.

Shifting into Oneness

In our ever changing world, we are ever changing. Some may prefer to be static or stable, like the position they are in. Well folks guess what...nothing ever stays the same in this Earth school.

We are all evolutionary creatures, beautiful spirits of light energy having a human experience. The word Evolve is beautiful to many and to some, it is the scariest thing imaginable. As much as we try to hold on, not let go, this creates tremendous strife, turmoil and chaos in our lives, we will eventually let go and move with the changes that are ever occurring.

I am writing this short note to all of you who have decided to let go and become that beautiful butterfly that is awakening from its safe secure coccoon. Be brave, march forth to the beat of your own drum and live the life YOU have always wanted. Don't let others "should" you anymore. Be the divine light that God put you here for.

Stop the FDA Globalization Act of 2008!!

This video summarizes the Indie Beauty Network's position against the Discussion Draft of the FDA Globalization Act of 2008, the legislation that would put thousands of Indies out of business by forcing them to pay outrageous registration fees and comply with burdensome paperwork.
If passed, this law would drive consumers back to the days when they could only choose between a few huge, faceless, nameless big box stores and brands for their cosmetics and personal care products. And fewer consumer choices always leads to higher prices. Tell Congress you want none of it.



Petition
We are the owners of small cosmetics companies, and the customers who love their products.
We understand that laws must be in place to protect everyone from unsafe products, but we are outraged by the Draft Legislation that would require small cosmetics companies to pay thousands of dollars a year in registration fees and comply with burdensome paperwork that would serve only to put them out of business.


If passed the legislation would deny thousands of families the ability to earn an honest living, and also deprive consumers of the variety of cosmetics and personal care products available to choose from. We oppose this law and condemn any companies that support it as being interested only in creating an unlevel playing field where small and family owned businesses will be forced from the marketplace before they even get a chance to start out. We urge you, as our representatives in Congress, to stop this law which would serve only to make it even harder for families to support themselves. We call instead for a real and meaningful discussion about how Congressional goals can be accomplished without enacting unfair laws that make it impossible for small businesses to survive.

In signing this Petition, we formally request that the Discussion Draft of the FDA Globalization Act of 2008 be marked up so that the legitimate concerns of small businesses and the consumers they serve can be translated into reasonable laws that protect consumers without also killing small businesses by making them pay unfair fees and comply with burdensome paperwork.

Demystifiying Holistic Aromatherapy

One can simply inhale an essential oil, which is the essence or life blood of a plant, and instantly feel the healing effects. Every essential oil has a different quality or characteristic, which heals different aspects of one’s being.

Through aromatherapy, increasing moods, treating ailments, improving sense of well being and purify the environment are just the tip of the iceberg in a vast land of natural healing.

Aromatherapy works two ways: inhalation through the nose or topical absorption through the skin. Essential oils applied to the skin are absorbed into the bloodstream for an immediate effect. For instance, if one were to ease a headache, simply apply a lotion or oil base that has pure essential oils of Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender or Eucalyptus for instant relief by massaging into the temples and base of the head.

From a chemistry stance, constituents with various properties and abilities make up each individual essential oil. There are no two alike. Essential oils can be placed into categories and subcategories, be cross referenced and so on. For all intents and purposes, these oils are powerful healers from Nature, that when combined become more than the sum of its parts.

As an Aromatherapist in daily practice, the integrity that these oils stand up to is quite magical. Over 8 years of formulating and treating clients has been a gift from Gaia herself. They have become integrated in daily life knowing their true purpose is healing on every level of the human body. Having tackled ailments that modern medicines could not solve and within days seeing major improvements in a safe holistic way has led to the pursuit of more experiences.

It is very important to clarify that not all products that say “aromatherapy” are pure in nature. Derived from pure plant parts, true aromatherapy benefits your physical and emotional health and well being. There are certain companies that produce air fresheners and candles that use words like aromatherapy and essential oils, while adding synthetic fragrances derived from petrochemicals that when burned, release toxic carcinogens into the air and lungs that then create a toxic build up in your body and anyone else’s who are in that breathing space.

There is a travesty in our current policy making system. Manufacturers of household products such as cleaners, air fresheners, disinfectants, etc., are not required to list the ingredients of these products on their labeling or packaging under a household trade secret law agreement.

Companies that produce natural, environmentally friendly products are held accountable for their ingredients by various companies that hold certifications. The labeling and packaging of these Green companies are complete and thorough as they have nothing to hide and proudly list their ingredients. So the next time you are shopping ~ check the labels, if they are lacking an ingredient list, they are chemically enhanced and usually have synthetic fragrances that are potentially harmful.
